As an Arboriculture Team Supervisor, you will be a key and respected member of the Tree Care Crew, primarily responsible for executing comprehensive tree and shrub maintenance services for both residential and commercial clients. Your role will encompass:
- Leading the Tree Crew in performing and overseeing tree care tasks for various properties.
- Safely operating equipment such as Spyder lifts, bucket lifts, loaders, and various saws to manage tree and shrub growth.
- Maintaining and monitoring the condition of assigned machinery.
- Engaging with clients during service delivery to ensure their satisfaction.
- Conducting comprehensive arboricultural practices including tree risk assessments, pruning, removals, and cabling and bracing.
- Learning and applying company safety protocols and regulations.
- In-depth knowledge of tree care practices and safe operational methods.
- A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in tree care, including pruning, trimming, and removals.
- Proven ability to climb and maneuver within trees safely and effectively.
- Extensive understanding of various tree species, their diseases, and appropriate care methods.
- Skilled in operating and maintaining tree care tools such as chainsaws, chippers, and stump grinders.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make informed decisions on-site.
- Effective communication skills with team members, clients, and supervisors.
- A valid Driver's License with a clean driving record (CDL-B preferred).
- ISA Certified Arborist designation is a plus.
