Position Overview
The Logistics Specialist is tasked with a variety of responsibilities, including the receipt, processing, and shipment of materials to manufacturing locations.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Operating powered industrial trucks and other material handling equipment on a daily basis.
  • Utilizing handheld RF scanners regularly.
  • Receiving, storing, picking, packing, and preparing products for shipment.
  • Verifying materials and quantities for accuracy.
  • Performing diverse functions related to the shipping, receiving, and storage of parts, materials, and products.
  • Preparing and packing materials for shipment, as well as loading trucks.
  • Receiving shipments, unloading trucks, checking for completeness and damage, and recording shipments while compiling necessary documentation.
  • Moving materials to the appropriate storage areas.
  • Lifting products and materials weighing up to 40 pounds.

Qualifications
Required:
A High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution is mandatory.

A minimum of 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in a similar environment is essential.

Skills & Abilities
Required:
Proficiency in the English language, both written and verbal.
A valid OSHA certification for powered industrial trucks, such as Order Picker, Reach Truck, Pacer, Sit Down, etc.
Experience with RF scanners is necessary.
