Key Responsibilities of the Speech Language Pathologist (SLP):

  • Creating and executing treatment plans tailored to the physical, cognitive, and emotional needs of patients
  • Evaluating cognitive, language, and swallowing abilities to ensure patient safety and recommend necessary modifications or equipment
  • Educating patients and caregivers on relevant practices
  • Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of patient progress

Requirements:

  • Home healthcare experience is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Candidates must possess a valid MA Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license.
  • A minimum of one year of experience as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) is required.
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively with a diverse range of patients and healthcare professionals.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail are necessary.
  • Capability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively, including proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
