Role Purpose: To ensure the maintenance of essential mechanical, electrical, and control systems within a critical environment facility.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Relations:
    • Foster a positive and professional rapport with both internal and external stakeholders.
    • Address service requests promptly and efficiently.
    • Respond to urgent calls as necessary.
  • Data Center System Maintenance:
    • Conduct maintenance to uphold optimal operational efficiency without interrupting business activities.
    • Execute routine maintenance in line with established safety protocols.
    • Inspect facilities and equipment for potential hazards or malfunctions.
    • Diagnose issues, assess needs, and recommend system enhancements.
    • Procure necessary parts and supplies for repairs and maintenance.
    • Solicit bids for outsourced services.
    • Collaborate with vendors and contractors to ensure compliance with company and client standards.
    • Ensure timely and accurate completion of work orders.
    • Escalate concerns to the Critical Environment Facility Manager as required.
    • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated expertise in mechanical, electrical, and life safety systems commonly utilized in critical environments.
  • High school diploma or equivalent experience is mandatory.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to navigate job sites with uneven surfaces.
  • Must have personal transportation for off-site meetings and visits, with reimbursement provided.
  • Capability to work at heights and utilize ladders safely.
  • Regularly engage in physical activities such as walking, using hands, reaching, bending, and lifting.
  • Must be able to lift and/or move items weighing up to 75 pounds.
  • Availability to respond to emergency calls outside of regular hours.
