Position Overview:
We are seeking a qualified Civil/Structural Engineer with a focus on Midstream facilities and pipeline projects. A Professional Engineer (PE) License is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare detailed specifications for project assignments, ensuring alignment with client performance requirements and design codes.
  • Conduct engineering calculations and develop analysis models for moderately complex projects.
  • Review vendor drawings to ensure compliance with project specifications.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and vendors throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Manage project expectations, ensuring timely completion within budget constraints.
  • Adhere to company quality standards and engineering approval procedures.
  • Comply with health, safety, security, and environmental standards as mandated by the company and local regulations.
  • Participate in hazard identification programs and report any unsafe conditions to management.
  • Collaborate with the drafting/design team to create and review engineering drawings.
  • Conduct site visits to assess project requirements and conditions.
  • Inspect vendor facilities to ensure equipment meets specifications.
  • Prepare purchase requisitions and bid tabulations for equipment procurement.
  • Perform checks on engineering drawings and calculations to ensure accuracy.
  • Focus on safe design practices while identifying cost-saving opportunities.
  • Manage project resources and budgets, seeking assistance when necessary.
  • Serve as Engineer in Responsible Charge as assigned, adhering to PE sealing regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, preferably in Civil/Structural Engineering.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make informed decisions.
  • Proficiency in team collaboration and effective communication.
  • Ability to organize and direct projects to successful completion.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Professional Engineer (PE) License is highly desirable.
  • Experience with Midstream facilities and pipelines is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with software such as STADD, SACS, MAT 3D, and Foundation is preferred.
  • Knowledge of structural design codes (AISC, ACI, API, IBC, etc.) is beneficial.
