Job Title: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

Job Type: Full-time, Contract for the School Year

Overview: Soliant is seeking a dedicated and passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work within a supportive school district environment, collaborating with educators and families to provide essential speech and language services to students.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech and language disorders.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and interventions to address students' communication needs.
  • Provide direct therapy services in individual or group settings, as determined by student needs and IEP goals.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to facilitate optimal communication outcomes for students.
  • Monitor and document student progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to achieve therapy goals.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of IEP goals and objectives.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of therapy sessions, evaluations, and progress reports.
  • Stay informed about best practices, current research, and trends in speech-language pathology.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology (Communication Sciences and Disorders).
  • ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for clinical fellowship (CFY).
  • New Jersey state licensure or eligibility for licensure.
  • Experience working with school-aged children preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and administrators.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
