About the RoleThis is an excellent opportunity for a Registered Nurse who is looking for a flexible schedule and the ability to make a difference in the lives of our patients. As a Weekend Flex RN, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care, monitoring and recording patient conditions, and communicating with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care.
Responsibilities- Provides direct patient care in accordance with established policies and procedures
- Monitors and records patient conditions, and communicates with the healthcare team as needed
- Administers prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing protocol
- Assesses and coordinates patient discharge planning needs with the healthcare team
- Provides education and support to patients and families to promote health and well-being
To be considered for this Weekend Flex RN position, you must have a current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) and a minimum of one year of current acute care RN experience in a hospital setting. You must also be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
