Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Writer to join our team at Suncoast Center. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and maintaining high-quality technical documents, including procedure manuals, policy manuals, and grant proposals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Writing: Develop and maintain technical documents, including procedure manuals, policy manuals, and grant proposals.
  • Grant Research: Conduct research to identify public, institutional, and private grant opportunities that align with the agency's mission and strategic plan.
  • Project Management: Manage the development and submission of grant proposals, including coordinating with team members and ensuring timely submission.
  • Staff Training: Assist with the creation and delivery of training presentations and materials, including converting training to E-Learning formats.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all technical documents and grant proposals meet the highest standards of quality and accuracy.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Communications or a related field.
  • Experience: At least four years of technical writing experience, including grants research and writing, procedural and technical manuals writing, and policy manuals writing.
  • Skills: Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, proficiency in internet search engines, and ability to design and create graphs, diagrams, and flow charts.
  • Personal Qualities: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and maintain confidentiality.
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will work in an office environment with multiple projects and deadlines. The ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential.
