We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team as an Acute Care Float Nurse at WellStar Paulding Hospital. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will deliver high-quality patient care while promoting a culture of excellence and collaboration.
Job Summary:The Acute Care Float Nurse will provide individualized care to patients in various units, utilizing evidence-based practices and the Nursing Process. This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:- Deliver patient-centered care while respecting cultural diversity and promoting understanding.
- Practice nursing according to established standards, including the Nursing Process and evidence-based practices.
- Engage with patients and their significant others to align care plans with patient goals.
- Coordinate safe and quality patient care with effective communication and timely interventions.
- Actively contribute to team collaboration and performance improvement.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and competency assessments.
- Support and mentor other healthcare professionals and students as needed.
- Graduate of an accredited or approved school of nursing.
- Completion of required clinical hours.
- Direct patient care experience preferred.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English.
- Basic computer skills.
- Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills.
- Ability to function in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent time management and critical thinking skills.
