CHRISTUS provides a comprehensive six-month residency program designed to equip newly licensed registered nurses with the essential skills and confidence required for delivering exceptional patient care. This program includes evidence-based training and critical thinking development alongside our esteemed healthcare professionals.
Every new graduate who becomes part of the CHRISTUS Health family will undergo an extensive orientation and will be paired with a dedicated preceptor.
Your assigned preceptor will be located within your designated unit, providing support throughout the program, guiding you through the essential processes, and facilitating a structured curriculum focused on progressive skill enhancement and patient care responsibilities.
