The Hydraulic Systems Engineer will be responsible for the design and development of hydraulic systems that exemplify superior quality, reliability, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Hydraulic System Innovation
- Research and identify new technologies and trends in mobile hydraulics.
- Lead R&D initiatives to assess the applicability of new technologies to our equipment.
- Provide expert guidance to New Product Development teams to influence design choices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to determine hydraulic system requirements.
- Translate stakeholder needs into precise technical specifications for hydraulic systems and components.
- Work with suppliers and internal teams to develop innovative system and component solutions.
- Present recommendations for system and component designs to engineering leadership.
- Conduct system sizing and design calculations, ensuring components meet specified requirements.
- Create validation plans to confirm that product and system requirements are fulfilled.
- Oversee analysis and testing to verify system performance.
- Identify and resolve issues related to hydraulic systems and components.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to lead technical projects and small teams.
- Experience with hydraulic systems and components is preferred.
- Background in off-road equipment design is advantageous.
- Willingness to travel up to 10%.
