The Hydraulic Systems Engineer will be responsible for the design and development of hydraulic systems that exemplify superior quality, reliability, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Hydraulic System Innovation

  • Research and identify new technologies and trends in mobile hydraulics.
  • Lead R&D initiatives to assess the applicability of new technologies to our equipment.
  • Provide expert guidance to New Product Development teams to influence design choices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to determine hydraulic system requirements.
  • Translate stakeholder needs into precise technical specifications for hydraulic systems and components.
  • Work with suppliers and internal teams to develop innovative system and component solutions.
  • Present recommendations for system and component designs to engineering leadership.
  • Conduct system sizing and design calculations, ensuring components meet specified requirements.
  • Create validation plans to confirm that product and system requirements are fulfilled.
  • Oversee analysis and testing to verify system performance.
  • Identify and resolve issues related to hydraulic systems and components.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to lead technical projects and small teams.
  • Experience with hydraulic systems and components is preferred.
  • Background in off-road equipment design is advantageous.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10%.
