Job Title: Utility Laborer

Job Summary:

The Walsh Group is seeking a skilled Utility Laborer to join our team. As a Utility Laborer, you will perform tasks involving physical labor on construction jobsites, including commercial, industrial, or heavy civil projects. You will operate hand and/or power tools as needed, prepare sites, and assist with other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities:

* Perform tasks involving physical labor as instructed by supervisor
* Work with crew members and operate a variety of hand and power tools
* Clean and prepare construction sites, including erecting scaffolding, removing and disposing of debris and waste materials, and digging trenches
* Load and unload construction supplies around the worksite manually and with the use of equipment

Requirements:

* 1 year of verifiable experience preferred
* Ability to climb and maintain balance on scaffold/ladder
* Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in adverse weather conditions
* Requires ability to comply with all safety policies and procedures and communicate effectively with co-workers and supervisors
* Possess a strong work ethic and desire to learn
