Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Mainline Excavator to join our team at Kenny Seng Construction. As a key member of our construction crew, you will be responsible for excavating lines and grades for mainline waterlines according to project plans. Key Responsibilities

• Excavate line and grade for mainline waterline according to project plans
• Excavate around existing utilities with precision
• Understand and implement trench depth & grade, sewer, storm drain, and water pipe
• Understand and implement pothole procedure, pipeline & grade compaction
• Knowledge of excavation, trenching, trench boxes & shoring practices
• Understand and implement the proper rigging for all materials being lowered into the trench
• Actively implement company & industry safety policies to ensure a consistently safe working environment for employees, owners, suppliers and the public
• OSHA Certified competent person for trenching & shoring
• Thorough knowledge of equipment maintenance to ensure safe and reliable equipment at all times
• Reading and understanding plans
• Keep crew organized and on task, meeting goals and deadlines

Requirements

• Must be able to take and follow directions from supervisor
• Must be able to communicate effectively with co-workers & supervisors with a positive attitude
• Pass all pre-employment and random drug & alcohol testing
