- Risk Management and General Safety: Identify and report any potential safety hazards or risks to residents, staff, and visitors, and take proactive steps to mitigate them.
- Training and Contributing to Team Success: Participate in ongoing training and education to enhance your skills and knowledge, and contribute to the success of the team by sharing your expertise and experience.
- Education and Certification: LPN, LVN, or state/province specific licensed nurse credential.
- Experience: Previous experience working with seniors is preferred.
- Skills and Abilities: Ability to make choices and decisions in the best interest of residents, ability to react and remain calm in difficult situations, ability to handle multiple priorities, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
