Salary Estimate:

The estimated annual salary for this position is $85,000-$110,000 based on industry standards and location.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement technical direction at the plant level to improve operations.
  • Direct technical objectives to achieve equipment availability, operation efficiency, and cost efficiencies.
  • Design roll shop tooling utilizing OEM drawings and specifications.
  • Build strong relationships with customers, vendors, and shop floor personnel.
  • Contribute to capital project management, budget development, and execution.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and assess root cause.
  • Collaborate with EHS personnel to develop safe work procedures.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Metallurgy, or related engineering discipline.
  • 3-5 years' experience in heavy industrial manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with roll grinding in the steel industry.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD or equivalent 2D software.
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
