Position Overview:

The Electrophysiology Lab is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. This role is essential in providing procedural support and patient education for individuals undergoing cardiac interventions.

Work Schedule:

Full Time - 10-hour Day Shift (Monday to Friday, 7am–5:30pm). This position does not require on-call duties or weekend shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the circulator for pre- and post-procedural activities, ensuring smooth RN to RN transitions.
  • Conduct patient assessments, review medical histories, identify allergies, and verify necessary medications while addressing patient and family inquiries.
  • Assist in electrophysiology procedures, including device insertions and ablations, by scrubbing in with the physician.
  • Manage equipment setup, connectivity, and troubleshooting during procedures, while monitoring intracardiac recording systems.

Qualifications:

  • Active RN License in Delaware or a compact state.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
  • A minimum of two years of nursing experience is required, with a preference for candidates with experience in Electrophysiology or similar procedural settings.
  • Proficiency in EKG and telemetry is essential.
  • BLS certification is mandatory; ACLS certification is preferred and must be obtained within one year of employment.
