Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the design and development of mechanical systems and utilities from inception to sustainment.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop and maintain design guidelines, standards, and specifications.
  • Support the development of bid-level construction documents, including drawings and specifications.
  • Coordinate design activities and monitor field installations and demolition work to ensure compliance with specifications and code requirements.
  • Review drawings, engineering calculations, and specifications to ensure that all projects are designed and executed to applicable local and state codes and statutes.
Requirements:
  • 7+ years of experience in mechanical engineering and design, with a focus on above and below ground kitchen designs, HVAC applications, and high-occupancy restroom design and execution.
  • Familiarity with California Building Code, California energy codes (Title 24), and other Federal and State guidance.
  • BS Engineering degree from an ABET-accredited university or equivalent experience.
  • Professional Engineers license in good standing (optional).
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Lighting design and implementation experience with certification.
  • Food and beverage-related design and implementation experience.
  • Theme park engineering experience.
