Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team at PEAK Technical Staffing USA. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for managing the design and development of mechanical systems, including above and underground utilities and various mechanical systems supporting our client site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the design and development of contract documents for projects with in-house and outside resources to meet project scopes, schedules, and budgets.
  • Coordinate design activities and monitor field installations and demolition work that comply with specifications and code requirements.
  • Review drawings, engineering calculations, and specifications to ensure that all projects are designed and executed to applicable local and state codes and statutes.

Requirements:

  • 7 years of experience in mechanical engineering and design in above and below ground kitchen designs with integration of HVAC applications, high occupant and volume restroom design and execution, hydronics, both above and below ground piping (supply and waste systems).
  • Familiar with California Building Code, California energy codes (i.e. Title 24), and other Federal and State guidance.
  • BS Engineering from an ABET accredited university or Proven experience in mechanical design, implementation and sustainment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Professional Engineers license in good standing.
  • Lighting design and implementation with certification.
  • Food and beverages related design and implementation experience.
  • Theme Park engineering experience.
