Join our team as a Beren Technical Crew member and contribute to the success of the Beren Petroleum Conference Center on the Lawrence Main Campus. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting with the set-up, running, and tear-down of Beren events, including conference AV consoles, loading and unloading venue supplies, setting up and running audio systems, running video projections, setting up and tearing down risers, and setting up multiple conference settings from a ground plan.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Set-up, running, and tear-down of Beren events
  • Set-up and tear-down of AV equipment
  • Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
  • Availability of two-hour blocks during M-F 7:00 AM – 12:00 AM
  • Ability to lift 15-20 Lbs
  • Enrollment in no fewer than 6 credit hours during the semester term of the appointment
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in conference center, theatre, video production
  • Experience working in the hospitality industry
