General Surgery Licensed Practical Nurse

Position Overview: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - General Surgery
We are in search of a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support our General Surgery Clinic. In this role, you will deliver exceptional healthcare services to our military personnel, their families, and retirees.
Job Specifications:
- Full-time employment, totaling 80 hours over a two-week period
- Shift patterns: Sunday to Saturday, with options for 12.5-hour or 8.5-hour shifts
- Working hours: 7 AM - 7 PM or 7 PM - 7 AM
- Includes six 12.5-hour shifts and one 8-hour shift within each two-week schedule
Core Duties:
- Deliver patient care that adheres to established Nursing Care Standards
- Manage patient check-ins, perform triage in accordance with clinic protocols, and communicate any concerns to the supervising nurse or physician
- Conduct diagnostic support tasks, including taking vital signs and collecting specimens
- Assist physicians during examinations and medical procedures
- Implement physician orders and accurately administer medications
- Provide emotional and psychological support to patients and their families
- Ensure a clean and safe environment for both patients and staff
- Handle phone inquiries with professionalism and confidentiality
Required Qualifications:
- At least one year of experience as an LPN/LVN in a medical or surgical environment
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- Possession of a current, full, active, and unrestricted LPN/LVN license
- U.S. Citizenship is mandatory
- BLS certification is required
