Bakery Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Bakery Specialist - Cake Decorator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating visually appealing cakes and pastries that meet our high standards of quality and presentation.

1. Bakery Production

• Plan and execute bakery productions to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products to our customers.
• Maintain accurate inventory levels and control shrinkage to minimize losses.

• Create intricate designs and decorations on cakes and pastries using various techniques and tools.
• Evaluate the quality of finished products and make adjustments as needed to meet our standards.

• Ensure compliance with food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, and cold chain regulations at all times.
• Operate and maintain equipment according to manufacturer instructions and perform routine maintenance tasks.

• Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve customer experiences, and enhance associate engagement.
• Utilize handheld technology to make informed business decisions related to production, merchandise ordering, training, and product quality.

• Identify member needs and provide recommendations to assist with purchasing decisions.
• Resolve member issues and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.

• Participate in company-paid education benefit programs, including tuition reimbursement and English Language Learning support.
• Develop skills and knowledge through various training and development opportunities.

• 6 months' experience in a fresh production area or equivalent.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Acknowledge successful completion of job-required trainings and assessments within a prescribed time period.

The hourly wage range for this position is estimated to be between $17.00 and $24.00 per hour, depending on location and experience. Additional compensation may be paid in specific circumstances, ranging from $0.35 to $3.00 per hour.
