Position Overview

The Chief Operating Officer (COO) is entrusted with the critical responsibility of ensuring the efficient and safe daily operations of the hospital. In collaboration with the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO), the COO plays a pivotal role in overseeing various departments and functions within the healthcare facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Excellence: The COO is accountable for the performance of designated departments, implementing effective strategies to meet established operational goals.
  • Patient Safety & Quality: The COO must foster a clinical environment that prioritizes safety and efficiency, consistently achieving desired patient outcomes.
  • Accreditation Compliance: Ensuring adherence to standards set by accrediting bodies is a fundamental duty, maintaining readiness for any assessments.
  • Employee Engagement: The COO is responsible for enhancing the engagement and loyalty of staff, medical professionals, and patients.
  • Financial Stewardship: Developing a cost-effective operational culture that meets financial objectives is essential for the COO.

Qualifications
