Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Tactical Network Engineer to join our team at Booz Allen Hamilton. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining complex network systems to support the nation's defense and respond to evolving adversaries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement network design and architecture to support real-world or training missions
  • Upgrade or develop enterprise-wide infrastructure to ensure security, reliability, and availability
  • Analyze and troubleshoot complex network issues to ensure optimal performance
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate encryption gear, network design, and architecture
  • Provide technical expertise in routing and switching, network transport layers, and virtual routing and forwarding
Requirements
  • 4+ years of experience with Military or Tactical Network Operations (NetOps), including Network Management (NM), Information Assurance (IA), Information Dissemination Management (IDM), or Electromagnetic Spectrum Management (ESM)
  • Experience with managing and resolving technical issues of the hardware and software technical baseline
  • Experience with supporting formal testing and associated fielding, installation, and training activities
  • Secret clearance
  • HS diploma or GED
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with participating in COTS software evaluations
  • Experience with participating in technical reviews
  • Experience with supporting technical management processes
  • Experience with representing NetOps branch and PdM at meetings
