Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Patient Care Advocate to join our team at Lincare Holdings. As a key member of our customer service team, you will play a vital role in facilitating patient care and ensuring seamless communication between medical professionals and patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Outcome-Based Solutions: Provide innovative solutions to physician referral sources and existing patient populations, driving successful outcomes and growth.
  • Clinical Coordination: Collaborate closely with the clinical, sales, and service departments to submit new orders, monitor their completion, and prepare billing and setup paperwork for patient services.
  • Troubleshooting and Resolution: Work closely with existing patients to troubleshoot issues, identify solutions, and dispatch corrective action via the appropriate departments within the organization.
  • Product Recommendations: Collect patient information, analyze customer needs, and recommend potential products or services to management.
  • New Hire Training: Actively participate in the training of new customer service and sales personnel, ensuring a smooth onboarding process.
Requirements:
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience: Proven work experience required.
  • Skills: Ability to learn and apply market and product information, as well as patient billing and insurance requirements.
  • Multitasking: Multitasking capabilities essential.
  • Computer Literacy: Computer and technological literacy required.
  • Professional Image: Positive and professional personal image expected.
