About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Technical Product Marketing Manager to join our team at Amazon Web Services (AWS). As a key member of our Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) team, you will play a critical role in driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest-growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers, including public sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with engineering and product management to develop portfolio-level strategy documents to guide prioritization of AWS offerings and capabilities we build.
  • Creation of positioning and messaging artifacts that will represent our offerings at a portfolio level.
  • Analysis and synthesis of 1st and 3rd party data (including driving direct data gathering from customers) to define opportunities for our offerings.
  • Acting as an advocate for customers within AWS (both based on direct customer work and your interactions with our customer-facing teams) during the product development process.
  • Involvement in the generation of content artifacts (presentations, demos, etc.) that can be leveraged broadly to educate customers on our offerings.
  • Working closely with other AWS teams to ensure these value propositions are articulated broadly and clearly.
Requirements
  • 10+ years experience working directly with customers on adoption of cloud-based products and services.
  • 10+ years working knowledge cloud-based architectures in one or more technical domains (e.g. Analytics, Developer Tools, Compute, Databases, Generative AI, Observability, Security, etc.).
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar field or equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills with high level of comfort communicating effectively across internal and external organizations, and with executives (both in customer and internal environments).
  • Professional experience architecting/operating solutions built on AWS or other cloud platforms.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS; AWS Solutions Architect Associate or Professional certification.
  • Prior Technical Product Marketing experience.
  • MBA degree.
