The Electrical Field Operations Manager is a pivotal role responsible for directing field activities and managing client relationships. This includes overseeing construction operations to ensure compliance with company standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and coordinate utility projects, working closely with project managers and stakeholders.
- Establish project timelines, allocate resources, and supervise utility teams.
- Implement safety measures, conduct team meetings, and ensure cost-efficient operations.
- Oversee budgeting, contracts, and adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Facilitate effective communication, maintain documentation, and prepare reports.
- Develop and execute emergency response strategies, collaborate with stakeholders, and identify training needs.

- Serve as the primary contact for clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Evaluate processes for continuous improvement and adapt to changing responsibilities.
- Plan and manage project execution, organize work methods, and create schedules.
- Ensure field deliverables are met, manage financial aspects, lead safety initiatives, and nurture positive relationships.
- Conduct performance evaluations, identify training opportunities, and oversee subcontractor activities.
- Willingness to travel and perform additional responsibilities as required.

- Competitive compensation ranging from $50-$60 per hour based on experience, along with per diem.

- Possession of a valid Nebraska journeyman electrician license (or equivalent from another state).
- Demonstrated management experience and a background in overseeing projects.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 3-5 years of relevant field experience or military equivalent.
- Valid driver's license is necessary.
- Proficient in computer skills and various software applications.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Successful completion of DOT drug screening and background checks.
- Physical ability to stand or walk for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs., kneel, crawl, climb, and reach.
- Commitment to maintaining and enhancing knowledge in gas distribution, pipeline, and underground electric safety.
This position is subject to the Federal Department of Transportation (DOT) drug & alcohol testing regulations as outlined in 49 CFR Part 382 and/or 49 CFR Part 199.
