Role Summary

As a Security Operations Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to address all security-related inquiries and requests, ensuring a secure environment for the public at your designated location. Every team member at Precision Security Team plays a crucial role in enhancing the client experience and maintaining the integrity of our operations. Work Schedule

This position operates on a standard schedule, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Candidates must be available during these hours.

Key Responsibilities

Your duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Engaging with clients, guests, and the public
  • Maintaining constant situational awareness
  • Conducting regular foot patrols
  • Restricting access to unauthorized individuals
  • Safeguarding the premises against vandalism and theft
  • Performing screenings and checks to prevent contraband entry
  • Assisting during emergencies and facilitating evacuations
  • Utilizing reporting systems and coordinating with relevant parties
  • Monitoring surveillance systems and reviewing footage
  • Ensuring confidentiality of all site activities
  • Employing de-escalation techniques in tense situations
  • Exercising minimal force only when necessary
  • Maintaining a professional demeanor at all times
  • Adhering to standard operating procedures
  • Enforcing local laws and regulations
  • Providing assistance to first responders in emergencies

Compensation

The hourly wage for this position is $23.00. This is a W2 role, and employees working 30 or more hours per week are eligible for health benefits.

Hiring Process

Our hiring process includes a comprehensive review of resumes to identify candidates who align with our organizational needs. Selected candidates will undergo an initial phone screening, followed by an in-person interview with management. Successful candidates will receive a job offer, contingent upon passing a background check and completing the onboarding process.

Requirements

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Must possess a high school diploma or GED
  • Must pass a background check
  • Must be legally eligible to use a firearm
  • Must have prior firearm experience
  • Must pass a drug screening
  • Must be able to work the specified hours without modification
Physical Requirements

Candidates must be able to:

  • Train and become certified in the use of an approved firearm
  • Stand for extended periods
  • Walk frequently during shifts
  • Lift at least 50 pounds unassisted
  • Wear issued gear for the duration of the shift
