Job Title: History Professor
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly qualified History Professor to join our team at N.C. Community College System. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching history classes, developing curriculum, and collaborating with colleagues to improve academic programs.
Responsibilities:
- Teach face-to-face history classes on the Macon Campus.
- Develop and implement curriculum for history courses.
- Collaborate with Arts and Sciences colleagues and administrators to improve academic programs.
- Maintain accurate records for each course taught.
- Participate in college events and activities.
Requirements:
Master's degree in History or a related field with a minimum of 18 graduate-level hours in History. At least one year of post-secondary teaching experience required. Preferred: Two years of college teaching experience in this field of expertise.
Preferred Qualifications:
Ability to use computers and software to support instruction, including course management software, word processing, email, Internet, and student information database.
