Odin Properties is on the lookout for a dedicated and skilled Apartment Maintenance Technician/Painter to join our dynamic team within our multifamily housing community. The primary responsibility of the Apartment Maintenance Technician/Painter is to effectively manage, prioritize, and execute resident work orders and turnovers, with a significant emphasis on painting tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure timely and efficient completion of work orders and turnovers.
- Perform cleaning duties for vacant units and common areas.
- Maintain an accurate record of outstanding work orders and provide daily updates to the Property Manager.
- Keep the maintenance workspace organized and tidy.
- Participate in on-call rotations for urgent maintenance issues.
- Collaborate with the Property Manager for the procurement of necessary parts and materials.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong background in painting is essential.
- Experience in plumbing, electrical work, and carpentry is preferred.
- Ability to work collaboratively and contribute positively to the team environment.
- Exhibit a professional demeanor and positive attitude.
- A minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience in maintenance.
- Maintain a neat and professional appearance.
- Reliable attendance is crucial for this role.
