Job Summary:

Penn State Health is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team as a Float Resource. As an Inpatient Nursing Professional, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess patient health problems and needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans.
  • Administer medications and monitor patient reactions and side effects.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Float between critical care, emergency department, and women's and babies units, providing flexibility and adaptability.

Requirements:

  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment or multistate RN license through the interstate Nurse Licensure Compact.
  • BLS certification required before orientation completion.
  • Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Nursing and a minimum of one year of experience in critical care, emergency department, and/or women's and babies units.
