As a Nurse Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in delivering cutting-edge, patient-centered care to individuals in need.

About the Role

This is an ongoing nursing job that requires a 36-hour workweek, with flexible scheduling to accommodate various shifts, including 12-hour days and nights. As a Registered Nurse in our CVICU, you will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to assess patient health problems and develop personalized care plans. Your expertise and compassion will be invaluable in ensuring the highest quality of care for our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Assess patient health problems and needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans
  • Administer nursing care to patients with complex cardiovascular conditions, monitoring their responses to treatment and adjusting care plans as needed
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care
  • Maintain accurate, detailed medical records, documenting patient progress and outcomes
  • Administer medications to patients, monitoring for adverse reactions and side effects
  • Monitor patient vital signs, reporting any changes or concerns to the healthcare team
Requirements
  • Currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment or holds a multistate RN license through the interstate Nurse Licensure Compact
  • BLS certification required prior to orientation completion
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred, but not required
