Key Responsibilities:- Deliver engaging and inclusive learning environments where students/technicians can flourish, fostering their passion for the OEM while imparting expert knowledge.
- Develop and deliver classroom-ready curriculum from original equipment manufacturer products and service manuals, ensuring compliance with OEM course delivery requirements.
- Mentor and coach technicians during workshop exercises, promoting hands-on learning and problem-solving skills.
- Ensure safety regulations and OSHA requirements are met, reporting unsatisfactory conditions immediately and taking action to resolve them.
- Complete administrative tasks in a timely manner, adhering to OEM Corporate Travel Policy and other guidelines.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Prior history as an automotive technician required, with technical experience with OEM vehicles.
- Prior OEM instructional experience preferred, with five years' experience as an instructor in a technical field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective connections with technicians/students, fellow staff, and OEM dealer personnel.
- Organizational skills, planning, prioritization, time management, and deadline-oriented, with the ability to adapt to a changing environment.
- Computer skills, including MS Office, OEM software applications, and curriculum management on UTI and OEM computers.
- Technical skills, including the ability to set up, deliver, and remove invasive and non-invasive vehicle faults.
