Job Summary

We are seeking an Adjunct Faculty member to teach in the Fire Science Department. The successful candidate will serve as a teacher, mentor, and facilitator, assisting in developing semester schedules, monitoring and reporting grades, ensuring class safety, and proper use and storage of department equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach fire science courses to students
  • Develop and implement curriculum
  • Assist in developing semester schedules
  • Monitor and report grades
  • Ensure class safety and proper use of equipment
Requirements
  • Certifications in Hazmat, Firefighter I, and Firefighter II
  • Five years of experience as a full-time firefighter or a combination of volunteer and paid experience
  • Two years of experience teaching or training
Preferred Qualifications
  • Fire Instructor I certification
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
