Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team at Randstad USA. As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for setting up and operating Makino A-line Mills, determining the sequence of operations, and preparing machine setups.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate Makino A81 CNC Mills with pallet systems to produce high-quality metal parts.
  • Determine the optimal sequence of operations to create efficient CNC programs.
  • Prepare machine setups, including tooling and work holding fixtures, to ensure smooth production.
  • Upload and download programs, and maintain specifications by observing operations and detecting malfunctions.
  • Operate CMM and hand inspection equipment to ensure quality control.
  • Implement Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) instructions to optimize equipment performance.
  • Complete production and quality logs to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Maintain fluid levels on machines, including coolant, spindle, and hydraulic fluids, to prevent downtime.

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of experience in CNC Machining, preferably with Makino A-line Mills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve production goals.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail to ensure quality and efficiency.
  • Ability to operate CMM and hand inspection equipment, and implement SPC where needed.
