Job Overview

The Operations/Supply Chain department plays a crucial role in steering and supporting the development of materials, logistics, and manufacturing strategies aimed at fulfilling business objectives across various regions, including multiple North American manufacturing sites and a network of outsourced fabricators and suppliers.

Role Responsibilities

The Supply Chain Assistant is responsible for overseeing supplier claim documentation, ensuring timely processing of buy-out orders, and providing essential administrative support to Commodity Buyers within the Central Purchasing and Operations/Supply Chain teams.

Key Duties Include:

1. Managing raw material transactions from diverse suppliers.
2. Creating independent sales orders for buy-out products (such as insulation and doors).
3. Engaging in special projects and continuous improvement initiatives as assigned.
4. Reconciling monthly inventory for both raw materials and finished goods.
5. Collaborating in logistics planning with both internal and external partners.
6. Supporting the supplier claim management process.
7. Assisting with document control administration, including SharePoint site content and records retention requirements.
