About the Role

At Perimeter Behavioral Hospital of Arlington, we are seeking a skilled PRN Licensed Therapist to join our team of dedicated professionals. As a member of our staff, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients with mental health and behavioral challenges.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • You will conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments to identify patient needs and develop tailored treatment plans.
  • You will lead engaging group therapy sessions that promote growth, healing, and positive change.
  • You will collaborate with families and community resources to establish strong support networks for our patients.
  • You will guide successful transitions through discharge planning and follow-up care, ensuring seamless support for our patients.
  • You will serve as a vital link between patients and community mental health resources.

Requirements
  • A Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling is required.
  • Current unrestricted licensure (LMSW or LPC preferred) is necessary.
  • A minimum of one year of hospital-based psychiatric experience is preferred.
  • You must have a passion for working with youth and families.
  • Please note that completing BLS and Handle with Care Training within 30 days is a requirement.
