Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in unloading incoming shipments and organizing merchandise as directed by management.
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and stock levels in your designated department.
  • Execute daily operational tasks and priorities as assigned by store management.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members and participate in daily meetings to share improvement ideas.
  • Remove promotional materials and price tags as needed following sales events.
  • Restock merchandise displays and monitor end caps and side wings.
  • Always check with a manager before denying customer requests.
  • Be vigilant against shoplifting and take appropriate actions as per company policy, ensuring excellent customer service to deter theft.
  • Provide exceptional service to every customer by being knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful.
  • Assist customers in assigned departments or throughout the store, greeting them promptly.
  • Demonstrate the S.A.L.E.S. process effectively.
  • Promote the Ace Rewards program and communicate the Ace Helpful Promise.
  • Stay informed about promotions and advertisements to inform customers about special offers.
  • Assist customers with large or heavy items as necessary.
  • Flexibility in availability is required, including evenings and weekends.
What to Expect:
  • Engage directly with customers, helping them find everything they need for their projects in one visit.
  • Enjoy a fast-paced and energetic work environment where time flies.
  • Be prepared to be on your feet for the majority of your shift.
  • Ability to lift items weighing up to 50 lbs is necessary.
