Job Summary

As a Pharmacy Technician at Walgreens, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and supporting the pharmacy team in delivering high-quality patient care. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team and develop your skills in a fast-paced retail environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of medications, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Operate pharmacy systems, including cash registers and inventory management software.
  • Assist with inventory management, including ordering, unpacking, and storing pharmaceuticals.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to maintain and enhance your skills and knowledge in pharmacy operations.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; PTCB certification a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Basic math skills and accuracy in handling cash and operating a cash register.
