We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team at Sovah Health - Danville. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the delivery of high-quality patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care plans.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Utilize evidence-based practice to deliver high-quality patient care and improve patient outcomes.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure patient-centered care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
- Current VA (or Multi-state) RN license.
- Nursing degree from an accredited nursing school (Bachelor's degree preferred).
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification.
- Experience in clinical area preferred.
- American Heart Association ACLS certification within 6 months of hire.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) American Heart Association OR Emergency Nurse Pediatric Certification.
- Emergency Nurse Association (ENPC) certification required, or within six (6) months of hire.
- Trauma Nurse Certification Course (TNCC) Emergency Nurse Association, preferred.
