About the Job

We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our Security Workflows team. In this role, you'll be responsible for developing customer-facing integrations that streamline vulnerability management for application security teams. You'll work closely with stakeholders to identify areas of improvement and develop innovative solutions to address these challenges.

Your primary goal will be to help teams prioritize and remediate vulnerabilities efficiently. To achieve this, you'll design and implement seamless integration workflows, automate tasks, and provide actionable insights to stakeholders. Your contributions will directly impact Semgrep's success and influence the broader developer community.

You will:
  • Develop and deploy major product initiatives, collaborating with cross-functional teams
  • Drive technical and product direction, shaping the future of our products and features
  • Engage with users to understand their needs and develop tailored solutions
  • Create intuitive APIs that simplify complex problems
  • Evaluate and improve service availability using site-reliability best practices
  • Mentor junior engineers, providing guidance through code reviews and planning discussions

Requirements

This role requires:A minimum of 4 years of experience in writing production software and building web applicationsFamiliarity with Python, JavaScript, and PostgresBackground in ClickHouse or analytics/reporting solutionsExceptional communication skills
Salary Range: $166,000-$196,000 (Based on San Francisco Bay Area)
