About the Role

As a Systemic Family Therapist in Nystrom & Associates Community-Based division, you will work in our CTSS (Children's Therapeutic Support Services) program, providing culturally responsive mental health services to high-risk youth and their families in a community-based setting.

You will have the opportunity to implement high-quality, evidence-based interventions, and work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the well-being and safety of clients and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide culturally responsive mental health services to children, adolescents, and their families in the home
  • Assist clients in identifying goals for functional improvement and work with them to meet their goals
  • Complete diagnostic assessments and design and implement treatment/intervention reflective of the client's, adolescent's, and families' needs
  • Receive clinical supervision from a qualified staff, and obtain continuing education units
  • Collaborate with social workers/case managers, doctors, probation officers, mental health providers, teachers, and other collaterals to monitor the well-being and safety of clients and their families
Requirements
  • Master's degree or other graduate degree in one of the behavioral sciences or related fields
  • Desire to work with children and families and/or adults in their natural environment
  • Currently pursuing or hold a professional mental health licensure (LPCC, LMFT, LICSW, LP)
  • Must meet qualifications of a Clinical Trainee as defined by Minnesota State Statute 245I.04.06OR
  • Mental Health Professional as defined by Minnesota State Statute 245I.04.02
