About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Inpatient Hospice Unit at Hock Family Pavilion. As a Hospice Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient-centered care to individuals and their loved ones during their most vulnerable time.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide and supervise direct and indirect total nursing care responsibilities to patients and their families.
  • Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, ensuring the highest level of quality and safety.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans that address the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of patients.
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and evidence-based care.
  • Act as a role model and mentor to colleagues, promoting a culture of compassion, empathy, and respect.
Requirements
  • Current registration with the North Carolina State Board of Nursing as a Registered Professional Nurse or compact RN licensure in a participating state.
  • BLS (or higher) certification required.
  • Professional specialty certification (preferred).
  • At least one year of previous work experience as a clinical nurse or at least one year of previous work experience as a Registered Nurse for a CN2 role.
  • Graduation from an accredited Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (or higher), Associate's Degree in Nursing, or Nursing Diploma program.
