Job Description

Our team is seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Researcher to join our lab and contribute to our innovative research aimed at understanding the role of molecular mechanisms of neurological diseases. The successful candidate will participate in single-cell genomics, in combination with induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs) and organoids, and collaborate with biologists at the Buck Institute to develop standardized protocols and experimental design.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct innovative research using cutting-edge technologies such as CRISPR/Cas9, genomics, proteomics, small molecule screens, and single cell analysis.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams of scientists to develop and implement new research approaches.
  • Analyze and interpret complex data to identify key insights and make recommendations for further research.
  • Communicate research findings through peer-reviewed publications and presentations.

Qualifications

  • PhD in Neuroscience, Biology, Chemistry, or related field.
  • Excellent cell culture skills and experience with iPSCs.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in an interdisciplinary team environment.
  • Strong communication and analytical skills.
