We are seeking a skilled Assembler to join our team at Leslie Controls, Inc. in Tampa, FL.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble and test products, including valves, pumps, and gauges, using blueprints and engineering drawings.
- Record and organize valve test data, ensuring all documentation is up-to-date and accessible.
- Disassemble, clean, evaluate, rework, reassemble, and conduct final testing of valves, including hydro and operational testing.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area, adhering to all safety practices and guidelines.
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of assembly or mechanical experience, particularly in roles involving valves, pumps, or high-pressure testing.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and engineering drawings.
- Demonstrated mechanical skills, including the use of basic hand tools, drills, grinding, presses, and rigging.
- Experience with micrometers, verniers, indicators, and other measuring tools, including an understanding of threads and metrology.
- Proficiency in ERP systems for documentation and data recording, with solid computer skills.
- Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- U.S. Citizenship is required due to Department of Defense (DOD) requirements.

Salary: $20-$30/hr - commensurate with experience
