Diagnostician

Clifton Independent School District is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Diagnostician to join our team. As a Diagnostician, you will play a critical role in assessing the educational, learning styles, and program needs of students referred to special education services.

• Assess students referred to special education services to determine their educational, learning styles, and program needs.
• Work collaboratively with instructional personnel to provide the most appropriate instructional programs for students with disabilities.
• Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) that meet the unique needs of each student.
• Consult with parents and teachers to ensure that students receive the support they need to succeed.
• Coordinate Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) Committee meetings to ensure that students receive the services they need.

• Masters degree in educational assessment or a related field.
• Valid Texas teaching certificate and Texas educational diagnostician certificate.
• Experience working with students with disabilities and their families.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with instructional personnel and other stakeholders.

The Diagnostician will work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines. The Diagnostician will be required to travel to various school sites and attend meetings as needed.
