Position Overview:
Speech Language Pathologist - Immediate Opening

We are seeking a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to contribute to our Pediatric School Based Team and make a significant impact on children's lives through effective Speech Therapy.

Job Details:
Part Time / 24 hours weekly / 2-3 days per week

Location: Glendale, AZ

Compensation: $32 to $35 per hour based on experience

Annual Salary:
$39,936 to $43,680

Essential Qualifications:
*Must Obtain and maintain
  • Current Arizona Standard Speech-Language Pathologist Certification.
  • Current Arizona Department of Health Speech Language Pathologist License.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Valid Arizona Identity Verified Prints (IVP) Fingerprint Clearance Card.
  • Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology.
  • American Hearing and Speech Association Clinical Certification of Competence preferred.

Primary Responsibilities:
As a School Speech Language Pathologist, your primary focus will be on diagnostic assessment and therapeutic intervention for pediatric students within an educational environment. The objective is to assist students exhibiting speech and language challenges in achieving their highest potential.

Key Responsibilities Include:
- Collaborating with school personnel and families regarding students' speech and language needs.
- Conducting initial screenings and comprehensive evaluations to assess the necessity for services.
- Participating in the IEP process to develop performance levels, goals, and treatment recommendations.
- Delivering speech therapy sessions utilizing current best practices as outlined in the IEP.
- Maintaining accurate documentation as required by district policies and professional ethics.

Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Speech and Language Therapy.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
- Current state license to practice in Arizona.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuing education.
