Job Summary:

Soliant is seeking a highly skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional speech and language therapy services to students, promoting their communication skills and academic success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluation and Assessment: Perform comprehensive evaluations of speech and language abilities to identify areas of strength and weakness.
  • Individualized Education Plans (IEPs): Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with identified speech and language needs.
  • Therapy Services: Deliver targeted therapy services to students in individual and group settings, utilizing evidence-based practices and techniques.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student progress and ensure effective communication.
  • Progress Monitoring: Track and document student progress, adjusting therapy plans as required to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Professional Development: Stay informed about the latest research and advancements in speech-language pathology, applying this knowledge to improve services and outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Licensure: Current California State License in Speech-Language Pathology (issued by the California Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology Board).
  • Certification: Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
  • Credentialing: California Clinical or Rehabilitative Services Credential in Language, Speech, and Hearing (or eligibility for this credential).
  • Experience: Prior experience in a school setting is preferred.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
