As a Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in critical care, you will serve as a key advocate for patients and their families. Your primary responsibility is to ensure the delivery of high-quality nursing care in accordance with established regulations and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assessment: Perform thorough and ongoing evaluations of physical, psychological, social, and pain-related aspects, while addressing educational needs of patients.
  • Planning: Identify patient issues, formulate nursing diagnoses, and develop tailored care plans that include patient and family goals.
  • Implementation: Prioritize and execute effective nursing care strategies.
  • Evaluation/Reassessment: Regularly assess patient conditions, modify care plans as needed, and measure outcomes against established expectations.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Completion of an accredited nursing program.

Licensure/Certification:

  • Current RN License in Texas
  • Valid BLS Certification

Experience/Skills:

  • At least 2 years of clinical experience as a registered nurse.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in an intensive care unit setting.
