As a Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in critical care, you will serve as a key advocate for patients and their families. Utilizing advanced critical thinking, clinical judgment, and technical expertise, you will provide safe and effective nursing care autonomously. Collaborating closely with the healthcare team, your focus will be on achieving optimal patient outcomes. Your strong communication and interpersonal skills will reflect your professionalism and confidence in nursing practice. You will also demonstrate flexibility and serve as a knowledgeable resource within the patient care team. Your primary responsibility is to ensure the delivery of high-quality nursing care in accordance with established regulations and best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Assessment: Perform thorough and ongoing evaluations of physical, psychological, social, and pain-related aspects, while addressing educational needs of patients.
- Planning: Identify patient issues, formulate nursing diagnoses, and develop tailored care plans that include patient and family goals.
- Implementation: Prioritize and execute effective nursing care strategies.
- Evaluation/Reassessment: Regularly assess patient conditions, modify care plans as needed, and measure outcomes against established expectations.
Qualifications
Education:
- Completion of an accredited nursing program.
Licensure/Certification:
- Current RN License in Texas
- Valid BLS Certification
Experience/Skills:
- At least 2 years of clinical experience as a registered nurse.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in an intensive care unit setting.
