About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Instructor Caregiver to join our team at Redwood Family Care Network. As a key member of our Day Program, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with developmental disabilities to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement daily routines for clients, ensuring their health, safety, and well-being.
  • Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal care and meal preparation.
  • Support clients in vocational activities and provide opportunities for skill-building and personal growth.
  • Transport clients to and from their homes or facilities, ensuring safe and timely arrival.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and supervisors to assess, plan, and evaluate client progress.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions and progress, using computer programs to track and analyze data.
  • Participate in ongoing training and education to enhance skills and knowledge in supporting individuals with developmental disabilities.
Requirements
  • 1 year of experience supporting adults with developmental disabilities.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age and possess a valid California Driver's License.
  • Candidate must pass a background check and obtain necessary certifications, including Direct Support Professional Certificate and CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention).
  • First Aid and CPR certification required.
