Job Summary:

Lafrance Hospitality is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bench General Manager to provide interim leadership to our hotel properties. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing hotel operations, mentoring and coaching staff, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assume all responsibilities of a General Manager, including overseeing hotel operations, managing staff, and driving revenue growth.
  • Mentor and coach staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles.
  • Develop and implement hotel marketing plans, property improvement plans, and operational budgets.
  • Monitor and analyze financial reports to ensure the hotel is operating efficiently and effectively.
  • Participate in the revenue management process and support sales staff to achieve sales goals.
  • Conduct quarterly analysis to test achievement of sales bonus plans and participate in company-wide sales efforts.
  • Ensure compliance with human resources policies and procedures and represent the organization in the business community.
  • Support the development of the management company and provide training and onboarding to new General Managers.

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of experience in hotel management, preferably in a General Manager or Assistant General Manager role.
  • Strong knowledge of the hotel industry and ability to be mobile and relocated to properties as assigned.
  • Solid business acumen and sound managerial and team-building skills to effectively lead an employee group.
  • Good communication skills, both oral and written, to communicate with vendors, employees, and others in furtherance of the business goals and objectives.
